Raul Pablo Rodriguez ( born Raoul Pablo Rodriguez ; born , ) is an American rower who played for the US national rowing team from 1986-1991. Silver medalist at the Seoul Summer Olympics , silver medalist at the World Cup, silver medalist at the Goodwill Games and the Pan American Games.

Biography
Raul Rodriguez was born on February 1, 1963 in Ann Arbor , Michigan . A father who fled to the United States from Cuba taught him rowing from an early age.
While studying at Tulane University, Raul played football quite successfully, was a member of the university team, where he played the role of an offensive guard . Already in his last year he went to rowing and also became a member of the local team.
He made his debut in rowing at the adult international level in the 1986 season, when he first entered the main squad of the American national team and spoke at the World Championships in Nottingham. He was able to qualify for the O doubles only in the consolation finals B and was located in the final protocol of the competitions on the ninth line .
Thanks to a series of successful performances, he was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul .
