Red-bellied yuhina [1] ( Yuhina occipitalis ) is a bird species from the white-eyed family. It lives in the north of the Indian subcontinent, mainly in the Eastern Himalayas. The range includes Bhutan , India , Tibet (territory of China), Myanmar and Nepal . The natural habitat of the species is subtropical and tropical mountain forests.

Quite a large yuhina, whose length is 12-14 cm. Plumage in a gray-brown scale, a narrow pointed beak.
IUCN has assigned the LC protection status to the species [2] . Two subspecies are known.
