Biography
In 1941, he was drafted into the Red Army , until 1942 he was a student of the Kuibyshev Academy , he graduated from the academic courses of the Komsostvo (1942-1943). Since 1943, at the front, he fought on the Kalinin (1943-1944) and Leningrad fronts (1944-1945).
After the war, he worked in the design team of the Khozu of the Council of Ministers of the USSR (1949-1956). He graduated from the graduate school of Moscow Institute of Architecture (1953-1956). He was hired in Giprogor by the head of the workshop, where he worked until 1966. Later he worked as the chief architect - the head of the design department of the Central Research Institute of Urban Planning (1966-1989).
From 1966 to 1975 he taught at the Department of Sculpture at the Surikov Moscow Art Institute .
He was buried at the Kuzminsky cemetery .
Works
In 1953-1954 he completed the interior decoration of the underground hall of the Kievskaya metro station.
In 1960, the general plan of Nizhnekamsk, which was headed by Kutyrev, was awarded the diploma of the I degree and the Gold Medal of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR at the All-Union Exhibition -Competition of New City Projects [1] .
He led the development of projects for the city of Togliatti . Kutyrev - the author of the general plan, the project of the detailed planning of the first stage of construction, the technical project and working drawings, also carried out field supervision of the construction process.
With his active participation, development projects were developed in the cities of Vladivostok , Nakhodka , Naberezhnye Chelny , Yaroslavl , Temirtau .

Evgeny Kutyrev as an architect was a member of the authorial teams of various monuments:

- Monument of Glory to the Kostroma Warriors, Kostroma, (1976) [3]
- Monument to Kalinin, Moscow, Kalinin Avenue (1978, demolished in August 1991) [4] ;
- George Dimitrov , Dimitrovgrad , USSR (1982);
- Kuzma Minin on Minin and Pozharsky Square in Nizhny Novgorod (1989);
- A plaque on the house where M. Sholokhov lived and worked, 33 Sivtsev Vrazhek , Moscow (1985) [5] .
He is also the architect of several monuments to V. I. Lenin in the cities of Dushanbe (1960) [6] , Ufa (1967) [7] , Merseburg ( GDR , 1971, since 1997 it was installed in the Netherlands [8] ), Suzdal (1978) [ 9] , Monchegorsk (1981) [10] , Volzhsky (1984) [11] .
