Biography

He entered the service in 1890 after receiving education at the Pavlograd Alexander School. In 1881, after graduating from the Odessa Military School , I was promoted to second lieutenant in the 1st category and released to the Vladimir 61st Infantry Regiment .

In 1897 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1901 he became captains of staff . In 1905, after graduating from the Officer Rifle School, he was “successfully” promoted to captain.

Since 1914, a participant in World War I , a lieutenant colonel - a battalion commander, in 1916 he was promoted to colonel - senior officer of the 61st Vladimir Infantry Regiment. During the war he was wounded and shell-shocked [1] .

By the highest order of November 21, 1915, he was awarded the St. George Arms for courage [2] :

 For the fact that in the battle on June 1, 1915 for the possession of the Medvelov Forest he carried away a battalion and knocked out the enemy with bayonets from the trenches from the edge of the forest, and captured 11 officers and 580 lower ranks
