History
It was founded in 1700 by the Cossack Leo Matonin, who took away the land from the Arins by raiding. Over time, the Matonin family became rich, and they provided great charity help to the village. At the expense of the Matonins, a church was built in Kekur, a school building was attached to it, several residential buildings for teachers, an almshouse for the elderly. The population of Kekur was engaged in agriculture: sowed bread, kept cattle. In 1933, 88 families of 394 people merged into a collective farm on May 1st. In 1957, the Sukhobuzim MTS was built, the Sukhobuzim State Farm was organized, where Kekur entered. And in 1962, Kekur was transferred to the Gorsky state farm. In 1969, Kekur moved to the newly organized Mayak state farm. In the village there are: elementary school, library, feldsher-midwife station, club. [2] .
