Performances at the Olympics

At the 2000 Olympics, Schwegla dropped out of the fight at the preliminary stage, successively losing by points to Chinese Wang Hu and Iranian wrestler Hassan Rangrazu and took the final 16th place. The next Olympics was similar for Schwegla: at the preliminary stage he lost on points to American Dennis Hall and the Ukrainian Aleksey Vakulenko and eventually became the 19th.
