Bruno Manara (full name Bruno Jose Manara Boscaini , Spanish: Bruno José Manara Boscaini ; September 3, 1939 , Verona - September 4, 2018 , Caracas ) - Venezuelan illustrator and journalist of Italian origin.

He moved with his family to Venezuela from Italy in 1950. He graduated from the Caracas Pedagogical Institute (1967) with a degree in Spanish and Literature, and then received a diploma from the Central University of Venezuela (1973). He taught Latin and ancient Greek language at the and at the Theological Institute for Believers ( Spanish Instituto de Teologia para Religiosos ). With the teaching of Latin to botanical students, Manara's interest in the plants of Venezuela began.
For many years he painted the country's plants and local landscapes, focusing on , directly adjacent to Caracas.
