Sony Xperia X is an Android Sony smartphone. It belongs to the Sony Xperia X line of smartphones, and was introduced at MWC 2016 along with the Xperia XA and Xperia X Performance on February 22, 2016. The Sony Xperia X series replaced the Sony Xperia Z lineup, which was confirmed by Sony Mobile Senior Product Marketing Manager in February 2016.
