Kazakhstan Caspishelf The consortium of Kazakhstancaspishelf OJSC is a multi-service geophysical enterprise. Created on February 13, 1993 as a specialized state-owned company. Since 1996, the legal form - a joint stock company. Main objectives: exploration of oil and gas fields in the Kazakh part of the Caspian Sea , the implementation of oil operations; research of bio-reserves and mineral sources, resources of the region, effective development of deposits in the Kazakhstan part of the Caspian shelf ; the development of marine wealth through the use of modern technology and technology, international experience of foreign companies with investment; environmental monitoring; comprehensive development of production and social infrastructure of the Caspian region. In December 1993, the International Consortium of Oil Companies was established. The headquarters of the consortium is located in Almaty , there are branches in Aktau and Atypay . In 1994-1996, the enterprise Kazgeoshelf was created together with the company Petro-Alliance-Service-Company LTD.
