UFL-2M is a laser facility under construction for experiments on controlled thermonuclear fusion with inertial plasma confinement. Created in Sarov by VNIIEF specialists. 192 laser beams of radiation with a wavelength of 0.53 μm, generated by a solid-state neodymium laser, will be introduced into the interaction chamber from all sides. The total energy delivered to the target will be 4.6 MJ. Start of operation of the installation is scheduled for 2022. [1] .
