Mohamed Buyeshaui ( Arabic محمد بوعيشاوي ; born ) is an Algerian judo from a heavy weight category. He played for the national judo team of Algeria from 1998–2011, four-time African champion, two-time All-African Games champion, silver medalist of the Mediterranean Games, winner of many national and international tournaments, and a participant in two summer Olympics.

Biography
Mohamed Buyeshaui was born on January 15, 1979.
He first declared himself in judo in 1998, winning a bronze medal at the African Championship in Dakar and a silver medal at the international tournament in Marseille.
In 1999, he entered the main team of the Algerian national team and visited the All-African Games in Johannesburg , from where he brought the gold medal award, won in the final category of the heavy weight category. Took part in the World Championships in Birmingham , but could not get here among the winners.
In 2000, he won the gold medal at the home championship of Africa and, thanks to a series of successful performances, was awarded the right to defend the honor of the country at the Summer Olympics in Sydney . At the Games already in the starting match of the category over 100 kg, he was defeated by the Brazilian Daniel Hernandez and immediately dropped out of the fight for medals.
After the Sydney Olympics, Buayshaoui remained in the Algerian judo team for another Olympic cycle and continued to take part in major international tournaments. So, in 2001, he won the African championship in Tripoli, won the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Tunisia , and fought in the world championship in Munich .
In 2002, at the African Championships in Cairo took the heavyweight bronze.
At the 2003 World Championships in Osaka, he stopped at the 1/16 final stage, while at the international tournament in Tunisia took first place.
In the 2004 African Championships in Tunisia, he received gold, won third place in the African Olympic qualifying tournament in Casablanca, and thus was selected for the Olympic Games in Athens . Here he again performed in the category of over 100 kg and again had only one fight, losing this time to the Estonian Indrek Pertelson .
In 2005, at the African Championship in Port Elizabeth, he twice climbed the podium: he won a bronze medal in the heavy weight category and a gold medal in the open weight category.
At the 2007 All-Africa Home Games in Algeria, they won silver and gold in heavy and absolute weight categories, respectively. At the same time at the world championship in Rio de Janeiro reached only 1/16 finals.
In 2008, was marked by victory in the international tournament in Oran.
The last time he showed any significant results in the international arena in the 2011 season, when he won the Belgian Open Championship in Wiese, won a bronze medal at the African Championship in Dakar and finished seventh in the World Cup in Budapest. Soon after the end of these competitions, he decided to end his sports career.
