Erisfexes [1] ( lat. Erisphex ) is a genus of marine ray - fin fish from the order Aploactinidae [2] .

Description
The body is oblong, strongly compressed laterally. The body is without scales, covered with rough skin with velvety spines. Head without crests, fleshy lobes and antennae. The infraorbital ridges are highly developed. The preperitoneal bone has 4 sharp spines. Mouth of moderate size, oblique. Velvety strips of teeth are located on the jaws and opener; there are no teeth on the palatine bones. Dorsal fins merged together, there is a notch behind the third prickly ray. Dorsal fins begin above the posterior margin of the eye, contain 10–13 spiny and 10–14 soft rays. The pectoral fins are triangular in shape, with 11–13 rays. In the ventral fin there is one prickly and 2 soft rays. All soft rays are simple, non-branching. There is a swimming bladder . The number of rays of the gill membrane is 6. The skin is rough. Symphysis of the lower jaw without tubercle [3] .
