Biography
In 1994 she moved to Oregon, USA [7] . In 2004, she received a bachelor 's degree in political science and visual arts from Oregon State University in Corvallis . In 2006, she graduated from Yale University's School of Art in New Haven , where she received a master's degree in art in the field of painting. Madani is known for using cartoony and exaggerated sexual images in her paintings [8] .
In 2013, participated in the lawsuit: Independence Collection LLC v. Tala Madani . While studying at the University of Oregon, Madani had a rented warehouse for storing things, which contained 114 of her paintings, but, later, the warehouse was auctioned and all paintings were acquired by Independence Collection, LLC. [9]
Madani's work was included in the Whitney Biennale in 2017 [6] .
