History
Onegzavod football team participated in the championship of Petrozavodsk since 1925 [2] , in the 1930s it was called “Rot Front” [3] , in 1957 it was called “Torpedo” [4] [5] .
In 1961, the Onegets team of masters was created, into which part of the Sokol team players (Petrozavodsk) joined. The emblem of the team was an image of a moose head. In the first season, the team took last, 12th place.
In 1965, the team received the All-Union Fair Play Prize [6] . The team had its own football training school [7] . In the years 1963-1965 the team participated in international friendly matches with Finnish football players in Petrozavodsk and Finland (Palloseura, Pannitus, Varkaus). Since 1973, she lost her professional status, participated in the championship and cup of Karelia, the championships of Petrozavodsk. In the city of Petrozavodsk, a veteran tournament is held in memory of Onegz, in which the veteran team Onegets participates [8]
