Chess Challengers Tournament 2019

The Candidates Tournament 2019 is a chess tournament that was held from May 29 to June 19, 2019 in Kazan . It is the final stage of a series of tournaments to determine the applicant for the women's world championship match.

On June 14, Russian chess player Alexandra Goryachkina won the tournament ahead of schedule, ahead of two rounds before the end of the competition by 2.5 points [1] .
