Yu So Yong ( cor. 유소영 ; born March 29, 1986 ^[1] , better known mononymously as Soyon ) is a South Korean actress and singer . Most popular as a former member of the After School band (2009) ^[2] .

As an actress, she is known for her minor roles in the Obsessed with Dream 2 (2012) and High Society (2015) dramas.

Career

For the first time as a participant in After School, Soyon appeared in December 2008 during a joint performance with Son Dame Bee ^[3] . Previously participated in TV shows and contests. She made her debut as a member of the group in early 2009, but that same year left her for health reasons, as well as to pursue an acting career ^[4] .

Personal life

In June 2018, it became known that Soyon has a relationship with professional golfer Guo Yun Song ^[5] . In April 2019, the couple broke up ^[6] .
