It differs from related species ( Quedius balticus , Quedius altaicus , Quedius subunicolor , Quedius meridiocarpathicus ) in relatively large sizes, dotted by the forehead. The median lobe of the aedeagus (dorsally) with a pair of lateral denticles, but without a pair of median denticles. The formula of the paws is 5-5-5. The head is round, narrower than the pronotum.
