Shangqing ( Chinese р п , Pinyin : Shàngqīng ) is a medieval Chinese city in Jiangxi province, currently a logging village in Guixi City County, Intan City. It is located at a distance of 20 km southeast of Intan, connected to Intan by a railway line and bus service. The city was the center of Taoism - the very first school Five Rice Ladles , which was transformed into the School of Heavenly Mentors , and later into the School of True Unity . Taoist temple complexes in Shangqing enter the territory of Lonhushan (Dragon Mountain and Tiger). The founder of Taoist schools and major temples was Zhang Daolin .
The name Shangqing means Highest Purity , this term is often used in the Chinese tradition, the so-called Taoist school of Shangqing .
