Malik Bey Bushati ( February 8, 1880 , Shkoder - February 15, 1946 , Tirana ) - Albanian political and statesman, 15th Prime Minister of Albania (1943).

Biography
His father served as a police officer in Thessaloniki .
In 1909-1910 he studied at Istanbul Robert College , where he met Ahmet Zogu . In those same years he became an activist of the Albanian national movement. In 1912 he returned to his homeland. Together with Hile Mosi and Riza Dani in 1914 founded the political organization National League ( Lidhja Kombëtare ).
In 1919-1920 he collaborated with Sali Nivitsa , edited the magazine "People" ( Populli ). In 1921-1923 and 1932-1936 he was elected to the Albanian parliament .
Member, since 1943 - deputy chairman, then leader of the Albanian fascist party .
In 1939, after the Italian invasion of Albania, Bushati supported the occupation and was appointed Minister of the Interior in the government of Shefket Verlaggi , later - Minister of Justice of Albania. He took part in the creation of the Albanian police and gendarmerie units operating under the Italian command.
In February 1943, she became the head of the Albanian government, but already in May of that year, as a result of a conflict with the Italian occupation authorities, the government resigned.
After the war, M. Bushati was hiding in his hometown of Shkodra . On December 3, 1945, he was arrested by the communist authorities and sentenced by a military court on January 14, 1946 to death for collaborating with the occupation authorities along with other members of the Regent Council Lef Nosy and Anton Harapi . The prosecutor general ordered the sentence to be executed and confiscated all the property of the convicted. M. Bushati was shot on February 15, 1946 near the walls of the city cemetery in Tirana and buried in an unknown grave.
