Background and Release
On May 23, 2018, the band announced their debut in Japan, with a Japanese mini-album called #Cookie Jar, on July 4th through its official Japanese website. [3] [1]
The first three tracks in the album are new, the other three tracks are Japanese versions of previous singles "Dumb Dumb", "Russian Roulette" and "Red Flavor". The mini album was released on July 4, 2018. [4] [5]
Commercial success
Cookie Jar debuted at number 3 on the Oricon weekly album chart, selling 26,124 physical copies. [6] [7] He entered and peaked at line 4 in the hot Billboard Japan albums and at line 13, US World album albums. [8] [9] The mini album sold over 28,130 copies in the first two weeks. [ten]
