“Press” (from English - “Press”) is a song by American rapper Cardi Be , released as a single on May 31, 2019 ^[1] .

Content

Background and Release

In December 2018, Cardi posted an excerpt of the song on Instagram ; she later said she was going to release her as a single, but instead decided to release the track “ Money ” ^[2] . For six months, an excerpt of the song scored over 100 million views, which is one of the best results on the social network. In the end, the singer announced that the release of the single will take place at the end of May. On May 27, Cardy released several promotional shots depicting her in the courtroom accused. On one of them, she is sitting in handcuffs in the courthouse, the frame is a reference to the story of Eileen Warnos , a serial killer and the second womaniac in the US ^[3] On May 31, the official cover was presented along with the song ^[1] .

Music Video

The video for the song was presented on June 26, 2019, the director was Cardi Bee herself.

Live Performances

For the first time, live, Cardie sang a song at the BET Awards 2019, and also sang the song “ Clout ” with her husband Offset ^[4] .
