Content
Story
In the 1840s in Boston, when old Flagg dies, he only leaves debt. His grandson, Jack Flagg, is dreamy and adventurous planning to run away from home and sneak aboard a sailboat bound for gold-rich California. When his sister Arabella discovers his absence, a stormy search begins. Jack manages to board the ship bound for California, where he meets a dishonest judge Higgins. Luckily for Jack, his faithful butler, Bulwip Griffin, followed him aboard the ship. Finally, they landed in San Francisco and plunged into the crazy world of the California Gold Rush. Jack Flagg's sister is worried about her brother and decides to go to California herself to find Jack and their butler.
