History
In accordance with the Law of the Volgograd Region of March 14, 2005 No. 1027-OD “On the Establishment of Borders and Empowering the Ilovlinsky District and Municipal Formations in its composition” [3] , the hamlet became part of the Novogrigoryevsky rural settlement formed.
Geography
Located in the central part of the region, in the forest zone, in the valley of the Don River , on the Don Ridge in the southern part of the Volga Upland , in a protected area (Zadonsky State Nature Reserve).
Street network consists of one geographical object : st. Forest.
The absolute height is 44 meters above sea level [1] .
