Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Tambov region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the Oka-Don plain , on the banks of the Inokovka River, at a distance of about 19 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-south-west (WSW) from the city of Kirsanov , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 158 meters above sea level [2] .

History
According to 1926, there were 126 households and 610 people lived (278 men and 332 women). Administratively, the village was part of the Inokovo volost of the Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov province [4] .
