Ivan Penelov ( Bulgarian. Ivan Penelov , born May 18, 1948 ) is a Bulgarian hockey player who played as a defender. He played for the Sofia CSKA [1] . As part of the Bulgarian team - a participant in the 1976 Winter Olympics, held 5 games at the Olympics in the group stage and a qualifying match (all of them lost to Bulgaria). In the match against Austria (2: 6), he marked the assist in Lubomyr Lubomirova (54:38), in the match against Romania (4: 9) he was marked by an abandoned goal (54:12) [2] . Member of the World Championships in Group B in 1976 and Group C in 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975.
