Content
History
It is indicated in the "List of settlements of the newly organized Kumylzhensky district of the Khopersky okrug" for 1928 as part of the Podkovo village council [3] . According to the regional statistics department in the list of settlements of the Kumylzhensky district on January 1, 1972 was a member of the Slavshevsky village council [4] . In accordance with the Law of Volgograd Region dated February 14, 2005 No. 1006-OD “On Establishing Borders and Granting Status to the Kumylzhensky District and Municipalities in Its Composition” [5] Dolgovsky became part of the formed Slashchevsky rural settlement.
He entered, according to the "List of settlements of the Kaganovichsky district of the Stalingrad Territory" in 1935, into the Kaganovichi (as in the document) district, into the Ostrovsky Village Council [6] .
Geography
It is located in the western part of the region, in the forest-steppe, within the Khopersko-Buzuluk plain , which is the southern end of the Oka-Don Lowland .
