Count de Medellin - Spanish noble title. It was created in 1456 by the king of Castile Juan II for Rodrigo Portocarrero and Monroe from the house of Portocarrero. Earlier, on December 8, 1429 , the title of Count de Medellin was granted to Ponce de Leon and Aro, 5th lord de Marchena , who in 1431 also received the title of Count de Arcos .
