Biography

He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts , as a volunteer (1862-1864), as a student (1864-1870). He received the title of a non-class artist (1870) from the Academy of Arts, the title of a class artist of the 3rd degree (1871) for the program "Project of the Concert Hall" , the title of a class artist of the 2nd degree (1876) for the project "University" . the title of class artist of the 1st degree (1883) for the project of the β€œGrand Ducal Castle” . Received the title of academician (1887) for "the project of the passenger building of the terminal railway station in the capital . " [one]

He served at the Ministry of Railways , the local architect of the Nikolaev railway (since 1876) [2] .

He was buried in Vyborg Roman Catholic cemetery .

Among the main buildings in St. Petersburg are a number of apartment buildings, production facilities of the shoeing nails plant of V.V. Bari (1881, 1884–1886); the building of the Aleksandrovsky Mechanical Plant (1880s), the constructions of Nikolaevskaya railway. d. ( embankment of the Obvodny canal, 43, 1880–90), the office building of the Nikolaev station ( Ligovsky pr., 18, 1895–1898); built an elevator in Revel. [2]
