History

In accordance with the documents of the Regional Directorate of National Economic Accounting on 01/01/1936 - was part of the Lyubishensky Village Council of Podtelkovsky District [3] . Based on the decision of the Volgograd Regional Executive Committee of January 18, 1965 No. 2/35, the Kumylzhensky District was re-formed with its center in the village of Kumylzhenskaya, and Lyubishensky s / s were transferred to it from the Nekhaevsky District. [4] . In accordance with the Law of Volgograd Region dated February 14, 2005 No. 1006-OD “On Establishing Borders and Granting Status to the Kumylzhensky District and Municipalities in Its Composition” [5] Lyubishensky became part of the formed Belogorsky rural settlement.

Geography

It is located in the western part of the region, near the administrative border with the Rostov region , within the Khopersko-Buzuluk plain , which is the southern end of the Oka-Don Lowland , near the river.
