Biography

He entered the service in 1885 after the end of the Petrovsky-Poltava Cadet Corps . In 1886, after graduating from the Pavlovsk military school , I was promoted to second lieutenant and issued to the Daugavpils Fortress Artillery . In 1890 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1895 to the staff captains , in 1900 to the captains.

In 1907, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel , commander of the 7th battery of the Caucasian Grenadier Artillery Brigade. Since 1908, the commander of the 4th battery of the 28th artillery brigade. Since 1912, the commander of the 2nd battery of the 21st mortar artillery division.

Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , at the head of his battery. In 1915 he was promoted to colonel , commander of the 21st mortar artillery division. In 1917 he was promoted to major general .

By the highest order of July 4, 1916, he was awarded the St. George Arms for Bravery [1] :
