Rev. Clarence Virgil Thompson Richeson ( February 15, 1876 - May 21, 1912 ) was an American priest who was executed for the murder of his bride, Avis Linnell. The murder was committed on October 14, 1911 in Boston .

Biography
He came from a simple family, was illiterate and not rich. Richeson had a small parish in Hiannis , earning very little money. Nevertheless, he had a bright appearance, was pleasant to use, and skillfully uttered his sermons.
On October 14, 1911, he killed his mistress, Evis Linnell, who was pregnant by him. He poisoned her with special pills.

On May 21, 1912, he was electrocuted.
