Content
History
The club was founded in 1976 and was then admitted to the Madrid Football Federation. For the first 10 years, the club played in the lower divisions (usually at the regional level) until it finally managed to break into Tercera . After a successful 1996/97 season, the club began performing in Segund B.
On May 27, 2018, Rayo Mahadaonda, led by Antonio Iriondo, managed to enter Segunda for the first time in its history, defeating Cartagena in the return match of the semifinal of the championship playoff thanks to an own goal in the last seconds of the match.
