History
Until the 15th century, Lannilis was part of the parish, which also included the territory of the modern commune of Landed.
Since the 16th century, pottery workshops began to actively develop in Lannilis; the city produced a large number of ceramic products and bricks. As the raw material, local clay was used, which in its composition was well suited for firing . These productions survived until the middle of the 20th century, after which they closed, unable to withstand competition from tin dishes and other manufacturers of ceramics.
