Hakdod, Mahmadsharif Mahmoud

Makhmadsharif Makhmudovich Hakdodov (new name Makhmadsharif Makhmud Hakdod ) is a Tajik scientist, statesman and diplomat, since 2017, ambassador to the Republic of Belarus.

Biography

Born March 15, 1959.

He graduated from the Tajik Polytechnic Institute (1981) with a degree in materials science. He worked there as an assistant at the department. In 1985, he was sent for an internship at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, then he studied at the graduate school and worked as a junior research fellow (1986-1989).

  • 1989-1993 - Assistant, senior lecturer, assistant professor, head of department, deputy dean at the Tajik Polytechnic Institute, Dushanbe;
  • 1993-1997 Head of the Specialized Inspectorate of State Ecological Expertise of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Tajikistan;
  • 1997-2002 First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan for Industry;
  • 2002-2003 Technical Director of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea;
  • 2003-2005 Head of the Department of Industry and Energy of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  • 2005-2006 First Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  • 2006—2010 Deputy Minister of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  • 2010–2014 deputy, Chairman of the Environmental Commission, member of the Council of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Parliament) of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  • 2014–2015 Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Beijing;
  • 2016—2017 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, national coordinator of the Republic of Tajikistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Since December 5, 2017 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus. Since April 2019, he is also the ambassador to Lithuania.
