Raevsky, Vladimir Evgenievich

Born in the family of the physicist Yevgeny Iosifovich Raevsky (born 1953) and the teacher of musical pedagogy Svetlana Evgenievna Raevskaya (born 1959) in Sverdlovsk. He began his television career as a correspondent for the Morning Express program on Channel Four in Yekaterinburg . ^[3] In the reports, together with the famous Urals, he spoke about the history of famous urban places: with Sergei Bobunts - about the square at the Central Department Store, with Dmitry Astrahan - about Lenin Avenue, with Ilya Kormiltsev - about the club of the Architectural Institute (the place where the album "Separation" of the group " Nautilus-Pompilius " in 1986).

In 2008 he moved from Yekaterinburg to Moscow. As a producer of the Profession Reporter program on NTV, he worked with Andrei Loshak . He participated in the filming of famous films of the cycle, such as “Not Our Business” (about domestic indifference) ^[4] , “The battle continues again” (about Russians and Ukrainians on the eve of the bicentenary of the Battle of Poltava) ^[5] , “Now here is the office” (on the demolitions of the historical buildings of Moscow and St. Petersburg) ^[6] .

At the same time he worked as an editor of Leonid Parfyonov on the set of the films Bird-Gogol (dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Nikolai Gogol - 2009) and Zvorykin-Muromets (about the inventor of television Vladimir Zvorykin - 2010) ^[7] .

In 2011-2012, he led the program “Human FAQ” on the TV channels “ Science 2.0” and “ Russia-2” . In each issue he talked about simple things and phenomena surrounding a person - sound, water, wood, plastic, and about the latest developments of Russian scientists in their regard ^[8] .

In 2013-2014, he was the author and presenter of the program “At Lunch” on the TV channel “Moscow-24” . I talked daily with my interlocutors during lunch at their favorite Moscow establishments.

The programs with ex-member of the Hi-Fi group Mitya Fomin , who left the frame during filming, as well as with fashion designer Victoria Gazinskaya and director Kirill Serebrennikov ^{[9] [10] [11] were} widely resonated.

In 2014, he interviewed the Dalai Lama for the publication of "Snob" ^[12] .

Since 2014, the host of the "Made in Moscow" program. From 2014 to 2019, more than 100 films about the history of everything made and invented in Moscow were aired: from the Patriarch's Ponds and doctor's sausage to the painting "Black Square" and the poem of Venedikt Erofeev - "Moscow-Petushki" . The program actively uses a unique method of author's reconstruction, where the presenter becomes one of the heroes of the narrative ^[13] .

Since 2016, together with filmmaker Roma Liberov, he has been working on the project “From the Author”, in which he shoots and records Russian poets reading and commenting on selected poems. The project has archived more than 40 appearances, including Alexei Tsvetkov , Sergey Gandlevsky , Alexander Kushner , Olga Sedakova . ^[14]

Since 2016, the author of the host of the program “Treasures of the Nation” on the TV channel “My Planet” , which tells about the most unusual museums in the world from the Funeral Museum in Vienna to the Museum of Broken Hearts in Zagreb ^[15] .

Since 2017, co-host of the program “Well, yes, Moscow” at the radio station “Silver Rain” , since 2018, co-host of the program “From the Author” ^[16] .

Since 2018, co-founder of the Ulysses Culture Support and Preservation Fund ^[17] .

In 2018, together with the US Embassy in Moscow, he released the film “Window to Russia” about a unique collection of Russian art collected by the wife of the 2nd US Ambassador to the USSR, Marjorie Post and exhibited at the Hillwood Museum ( Washington , DC , USA ) ^[18] .

In 2018, he acted as a co-producer (together with musician Roman Lugovyh (Romario) and the main role in the video of Andrei Makarevich - “Either this or that” ^[19] .

In the same year he began to conduct the program “Scientific Stand Up” on the channel “Culture” , together with Nikita Belogolovtsev ^[20] .
