First Udullu ( azerb. Birinci Udullu , also translated as Birinji Udullu ) is a village in the administrative-territorial district of Udullu of the First Adzhikabul region of Azerbaijan .

Etymology
The village comes from the dialect version of the ethnonym Udullu and the first numeral. Researchers' opinions on the first component of the village name are divided, according to some, it comes from the Shahseven clan Udullu, and according to others from the Khazar clan Edilly [1] .
History
The village was founded as a gang by migrants from Iranian Azerbaijan, who arrived on the Kura shore for fishing.
The Udula nomad in 1886, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Baku province, belonged to the Shorbachinsky rural community of the Jevat district [2] .
The village Uduly 1 in 1913 according to the administrative-territorial division of the Baku province belonged to the Udulinsky rural community of the Shamakhi district [3] [4] .
After the reform of administrative division and the abolition of counties in 1929, the Udullinsky village council was formed in the Karasuinsky district of the Azerbaijan SSR . Later, the district was abolished, the village became part of the Ali-Bayramlinsky district, but in 1939 the village was transferred to the Kazi-Magomedsky district.
On December 4, 1959, the Kazi-Magomed district was liquidated, and the village was transferred to the Ali-Bayramlinsky district.
According to the administrative division of 1961, the village of Udullu Pervoe was a member of the Udullinsky village council of Ali-Bayramlinsky district of the Azerbaijan SSR [5] . In 1963, the Ali-Bayramlinsky district was abolished, and the villages of the Udullinsky village council were transferred to the Shemakha region [6] .
On April 24, 1990, the village was transferred to the newly formed Adzhikabul region.
In 1999, an administrative reform was carried out in Azerbaijan and the Udullu Municipality of the First Adzhikabul region was established within the Udulla administrative-territorial district [7] .
On May 15, 2003, the Udullinsky ATO was renamed into the administrative-territorial district of Udullu the First.
Geography
Udullu Pervoe is located on the bank of Pirsaat .
The village is located 35 km from Adzhikabul district center and 138 km from Baku . The nearest train station is Mugan.
The village is located at an altitude of 166 meters below sea level.

In 1886, 188 people lived in the village, all of them were Azerbaijanis, Shiite Muslims by religion.
The population is mainly engaged in growing grain and raising animals.

The average annual temperature in the village is +14.0 ° C. The village has a semi-desert climate .
Infrastructure
In Soviet times, the village housed the Sheep Commodity Farm “Bozum”, a secondary school, and a medical center [8] . The Udulla meat and dairy state farm operated in the village (in 1991 it was divided into the Udullinsky livestock collective farm and Sabir livestock collective farm, the first operated under Udulla the First until 1996).
The village has a secondary school, a library, a local hospital, a mosque.
