Career

Born on January 6, 1990 in Ulaanbaatar , where his father served in the military. The first coach is Alexei Dibert. He began to engage in basketball in Nikolaev [1] .

At the age of 15, at the end of the school league season, he ended up in the Ukrainian national team until the age of 16, led by Vitaliy Lebedintsev. He participated in the European Championship, where Ukrainians took 12th place. After that, Lebedintsev took Otverchenko to BC Kiev in 2006 [2] .

From November 2012 to February 2013 he acted on a leasehold basis for Donetsk [3] . In February 2013 he returned to Kiev [4] . In the summer of 2015, he became a player in the Spanish club Manresa [5] . In October of the same year he became a player of the Kiev Budivelnik [6] . Two years later, in the summer of 2017, he extended the contract with the club [7] . In October 2018, he moved to the Cherkasy Mavp [8] .

He was included in the list of five best players of the Super League according to the version of the site iSport.ua: the first five (2015), the first five Ukrainians (2012, 2015), the progress five (2012) [9] .

He played for the national basketball team of Ukraine . He helped the team led by Evgeny Murzin to get to Eurobasket 2017 . At the tournament itself, Ukraine reached the 1/8 finals, where it lost to the future winner of the Eurobasket - the Slovenian team [10] .
