Biography

Pupil of Kemerovo football, coach - Alexander Nikolaevich Gorbachev [1] . He played for the USSR youth team. At the adult level, he made his debut in the " Kuzbass " at the age of 17, in the 1968 season in the second group of class "A" , playing 4 games.

In 1969 he moved to Lokomotiv Moscow . The debut match in the highest league was played on April 25, 1969 against Pakhtakor , came on as a substitute during the break, and scored his first goal in the 65th minute [2] . Total for the season played 21 matches, scoring 3 goals, and his team flew out of the highest league [3] .

In 1970 he returned to Kuzbass, where he spoke until the end of his career. In just 12 seasons, the team played more than 330 matches, scoring 35 goals, most of them in the first league . In 1970 and 1972 he became the winner of the zonal tournaments of the second league , in 1972 also the winner of the final tournament of the second league and the champion of the RSFSR. In 1977, he took part in the legendary match against Spartak Moscow (4: 0), in which he made two assists [4] .

After the end of his playing career, he worked for many years as a children's coach in the Kuzbass football player training group. In 1997 (according to other data, in 1996-1997) he headed the main team of Kuzbass.

Later he emigrated to Germany ( Eisenach ) [5] .

Personal life

Brother Alexander (born 1957) was also a football player, played for Kuzbass and a number of other clubs [6] .
