Description
Nyx is a fantastic animal, which first appeared in the game-book “Find the Dragon” [1] by Spasimir Ignatov [2] , which is part of the collection “Calling is a Hero” [3]
| Nyxa is a small marsupial mammal of a squad of short proboscides, doing small dirty tricks, turning into big troubles. She has a short thick coat. Of it often make raincoats, gloves and socks. |
In the year the work was released, it became so popular that a prize for books-games was established with his name; in addition, the image of the animal was adopted as the logo of the publishing house “BOOKS-GAMES Association”, which deals mainly with the genre of books-games. The author of the illustrations “In Search of the Dragon” and the creator of the image of Nyx is Georgi-TANGRA [4] . The prize is made of environmentally friendly materials: a figurine made of felted wool, and a feather is natural. It is covered with gold bronze. The model is made in the illustrations for the book-game "Find the Dragon", drawn by TANGRA. Motley Nyxa [5] is a derivative award for artists and illustrators in the genre of game books.
Nomination
All works published in Bulgarian, for which the Bulgarian "Game-Books Community" believes that they fall into the category, are nominated for an award. [6]
Editions of the publishing house “Fute” are not nominated because of their unclear nature - are these books, games or educational tests.
In 2017, the nomination did not include the “new Sonora” - since it is not “new” and “Tiger Way 2: The Killer!” - because it is a fan edition with a print run by prior request.
Presentation
The award is traditionally awarded at the Talasymiya Summer Festival, dedicated to the fantastic and fabulous Bulgarian mythology. Held annually since 2002 in the spa resort of Starozagorski Bani.
