Chingiz Farzaliyev

Born on November 20, 1943 in Baku . In 1973, he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov, Faculty of Painting. 1975 became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR . Since 1966, is a participant of republican, all-Union and international exhibitions. Since 2004 she has been working as the head of the painting department at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts . In 2006 he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Azerbaijan". Since 2008 - Professor of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, since 2010 - Director of the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan . ^{[1] [2]} He is also the Chairman of the State Commission of Fine Arts since 2010.
