Vlahina ( Alb. Vllahinë ) is a village and former municipality in the region of Vlore in the south-west of Albania . In 2015, as a result of self-government reform, it became a unit of the municipality of Selenica ( Alb. Selenicë ) [1] . According to the 2011 census, the population of Vlahina is 3,111 people [2] .

The municipality includes the villages of Kotsul, Mertyrai, Rejepay, Haderai, Malkeki, Gernets, Pete, Kropisht, Vezdanisht, Peshkepi and Penkov [3] .
