Baldzhuansky bekstvo or Baldzhuansky vilayet ( Uzbek. Baljuvon bekligi / Baljuvon viloyati ; taj. Bekigariya Baluvon ) - an administrative unit as a part of the Bukhara emirate , in the territory of modern Tajikistan . The administrative center was Baljuan .

Geography
History
After the annexation of East Bukhara to the Bukhara emirate, Baljuan was formed into beqi and "Bukhara orders" were introduced very soon here. The governors appointed by the emir concentrated in their hands the entire fullness of administrative power [1] .

Population
After the Hissar and Kulyab beks, the highest population density was noted for Baljuans beks. As reported by the Governor of the Ferghana Region G.A. Arandarenko , Baljuan was less populated than Kulyab. [2] .
Culture
There was a considerable area of irrigated fields in Baljuansky beks, mainly along the course of the Yakhsu River and there were great opportunities for the development of cattle ranching [3] [4] .
In the years 1896-1917, within the limits of backwater, the enterprise of the Russian mining engineer and entrepreneur A. P. Zhuravko-Pokorsky functioned, where local and Russian citizens worked [5] .
