Biography
Fedor Fedoseevich Bragin was born on February 28, 1925 in the village of Gurtlud, Sumsynsky district, Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, into a peasant family.
In 1941, after graduating from the 6th grade of school, he entered the vocational school number 3 of Izhevsk , after which he began working at the Izhevsk Machine Building Plant as a rifle barrelman.
In 1943 he was drafted into the army, served in the Far East . In 1945 he took part in hostilities against militaristic Japan .
In 1948, after being demobilized from the army, he worked on his own collective farm "Red Proletarian" as a chauffeur, and later began to work at the Sumsinsky lespromkhoz .
In 1953, he went to work at the Surek forest industry enterprise of the Ministry of Forestry and Woodworking Industry of the USSR, where he worked all his working life until he retired.
Fedor Fedoseevich Bragin was the first at the timber industry enterprise to master the wood hauling at MAZ with a self-loading truck, and also came up with an initiative to launch a socialist competition for the early implementation of the eighth five-year plan (1966 - 1970).
He completed the five-year assignment 7 months ahead of the planned schedule, having removed 38 thousand cubic meters of forest during this time, including 4.7 thousand cubic meters over the plan, exceeding the commitments by 2.5 thousand cubic meters.
For outstanding achievements in fulfilling the assignments of the eighth five-year plan, Bragin Fedor Fedoseevich decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated May 7, 1971 was awarded the high title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle Hammer gold medal.
Fyodor Fedoseevich Bragin in the Ninth Five-Year Plan over the plan exported 7 thousand cubic meters of forest, and fulfilled the tasks of the 10th Five-Year Plan in 4 years. He was awarded the title "The best driver of the plant" Udmurtles. "
Fedor Fedoseevich Bragin took an active part in public life: he was repeatedly elected a member of the party bureau of the lumber station, a deputy of the regional and regional council of trade unions, and also a presidium of the regional trade union committee, was the chairman of the national control group.
Fedor Fedoseyevich died on February 15, 2000.
