Election System
Members of the House of Representatives are elected in two ways: 41 members are elected in single-mandate constituencies using a two-round system, and 22 are elected by proportional representation in one nationwide constituency with a 5% electoral threshold [1] .

Last election
In the parliamentary elections of March 1, 2015, representatives of six political parties of Tajikistan joined the chamber. In these elections, representatives won so many seats: from the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan - 44, the Communist Party of Tajikistan - 2, the Party of Economic Reforms of Tajikistan - 2 and the Agrarian Party of Tajikistan - 3, the Democratic Party of Tajikistan - 1.
