Biography
Born in 1908 in the village of Orlyanka, Melitopol district, Tauride province. Russian.
After the liberation from the occupation of the Kuban, Sergei Zakharovich began to work in the Peter and Paul MTS of the Krasnodar Territory as a combine operator. Soon he entered the forefront of production Kurganinsky district.
In 1951, during the harvest, he showed good results in work. On the combine "Stalinets-1" in 25 working days managed to thresh 8518 centners of grain crops.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 27, 1952, for achieving high performance in harvesting and threshing grain crops in 1951, Sergei Zakharovich Boyko was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle medal.
After the reorganization of the MTS, Boyko continued to work on a combine harvester at the local Rossiya collective farm. He went on a well-deserved rest in 1960.
He lived in the village of Peter and Paul. He died on August 1, 1980.
