The Stanley Cup Final 2019 is the decisive playoff series of the Stanley Cup in the National Hockey League season 2018/2019 . The champions of the Western and Eastern Conferences, St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins respectively took part in the final. The series started on May 27, 2019 in Boston [1] , and ended there on June 12 with the victory of “St. Louis” in the 7th match. This final was the first since 2011 , in which to identify the champion it took to play all 7 matches of the series.

This final is the third playoff meeting in club history. The first occurred in the 1970 Stanley Cup final , in which Boston won 4-0. The next one was held in 1972 in the Stanley Cup semi-final, in which the Bruins also won 4-0.

According to the results of the regular championship, “Boston” scored 107 points and took 2nd place in the Atlantic Division .
In the first round of the playoffs, the Bruins beat Toronto Maple Leafs in seven games. In the second round, Columbus Blue Jackets were beaten in six games, and in the final of the conference a “dry” victory was won over the Caroline Hurricanes .
For the Boston Bruins, this final is the twentieth in history. The Bears have six Stanley Cups on their accounts, the last of which was won in 2011 . The last time the Bruins participated in the final was in 2013 , in which they lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in six games.

The scoring was opened in the 8th minute of the 1st period, when striker guests Braden Shenn hit the gate Tuukki Raska . At the start of the 2nd period, the Blues players took advantage of David Pastrnyak 's mistake behind their own goal and Vladimir Tarasenko doubled the advantage. After 1 minute and 16 seconds, Connor Clifton played one puck, and in the middle of the period Charlie McAvoy equalized the score. In the 3rd period, the Bruins hockey players struck the gates of St. Louis twice and secured a victory in the first match.

Before the match in the "Blues" Robbie Fabbri replaced Robert Thomas . In the first period, the team scored 4 goals for two. First, Charlie Coyle sold the majority and brought the “Boston” forward. In the middle of the period, Robert Bortuzzo equalized the score, but in less than a minute Juakim Nordström brought the hosts forward again. 5 minutes before the end of the 1st period, Vladimir Tarasenko makes the score equal for the second time in the match. After the previous match in the "Blues", for a push on board the Bruins defender Matt Grizzlyk , striker Oscar Sundquist was disqualified for one game, who was replaced by Zach Sanford and John Moore was replaced by injured Grizzly. After serving the disqualification, Oscar Sundqvist returned to Blues, Zach Sanford replaced Robbie Fabbri , and defender Vins Dunn , who recovered from his injury, replaced Robert Bortuzzo . At the 5th match of the series, the Boston coaching staff declared seven defenders, replacing striker David Backes with Stephen Kampfer , and in the St. Louis section Robert Bortuzzo took the place of Joel Edmundson . In the 1st minute of the 2nd period, Ryan O'Reilly opened the scoring in the match. In the middle of the third period, David Perron consolidated the advantage of the guests.
