Play career

In adult football, he made his debut in 1972 with performances for the club Rijeka , in which he spent twelve seasons. From the late 1970s, he was already captain of the team .

He completed a professional gaming career in the Belgian club "Winterslag" , for the team which played during 1985-1986.

Career Coach

He began his coaching career, returning to football after a short break in 1990, leading the coaching staff of the Primorye club . Starting next year, during the season, he worked with another Slovenian club, Koper , already in the newly formed championship of independent Slovenia .

In November 1992, he returned to the club “Rijeka” as the head coach of the team, however, he managed it only for two games. The second parish of Juricić on the coaching bridge “Rijeka” took place in the summer of 1993. This time the team under his leadership spent the entire season of 1993/94 , taking a fairly decent sixth place in the championship.

During July-September, he again worked in Slovenia with the Gorica club , and in 1995 he was the head coach of the Croatian club Istra 1961 .

From the second half of the 1990s, he developed his coaching career in the Middle East . He began work in the region with the UAE club Al-Ahli (Dubai) , then worked with the youth and national teams of this country [3] .

In 2003, he accepted an offer to lead the coaching staff of the Bahrain national team . With this team I took part in the only major tournament in my career - the Asian Cup in 2004 , where his players not only went through the group stage, but also, having beaten the national team of Uzbekistan in the quarterfinal, became the semifinalists of the continental championship. In the semifinals, they gave battle to the future winners of the Japanese national team tournament, losing only in extra time with a score of 3: 4.

For one year, starting in 2005, he was the head coach of the Oman national team .

Then he worked at the club level with the Emirate clubs "Sharjah" and "Al-Vasl" , Qatar "Al-Arabi" and "Qatar UK" , as well as with the Bahraini "Al-Riffa" [4] .

The last places to train a specialist’s work were the Yemen national team , the head coach of which was Srecko Yurichich from 2009 to 2010 and the Arabian club Al-Taawtun , which he headed in 2012.

Since March 2012, he has held the position of sports director of his native club Rijeka [5] .
