Criticism
In the review of E. Bauer's painting “I am a king, I am a slave, I am a worm, I am God” the author of “Pegasus” remarked: “Here Mr. Bauer made a new step along the path of artistic technique. The viewer can see the panorama of Moscow at night. The director managed to shoot the street during those hours when the lights are lit and electric signs are lit " [4] [5] [6] . According to N. T. (probably N. Turkina), “a talented director tirelessly striving to move forward, looking for new opportunities, brings diversity to the techniques of creativity”, but “from the director’s part, it was perhaps a mistake to entrust the role of Mr. Gromov, with a narrow and completely non-flexible talent ” [4] [7] .
The film historian Veniamin Vishnevsky rated the film as follows: “The film is interestingly conceived as a director, but mediocre actor; interesting night shootings of B. Zavelev ” [1] .
