“What is the bear for?” ( Spanish ¿Para qué sirve un oso? ) - comedy of the Spanish screenwriter and director Tom Fernandez. Among the stars of the picture lit up Javier Camara , Gonzalo de Castro and Emma Suarez . Charlie Chaplin's daughter and granddaughter, Geraldine and Una Chaplin, also starred in the film. The film premiered on March 26, 2011 at the Malaga Film Festival. This was followed by a theatrical production, shown on April 1 in Spain.

Story
Biologist - Guillermo (Javier Camara) returns to his native Spain after the discovery of a wild plant in the ice of the Antarctic. The scientist seems ready to give up hope of preserving the planet. He contacts his brother Alejandro (Gonzalo de Castro), a wildlife photographer who lives in a cabin in a forest with young Californian Vincent (Jesse Johnson). Both hope that the bears that once inhabited the territory of Spain will one day return.
Near the cabin in the forest live Natalia (Emma Suarez), the widow and mother of Daniela (Sira Garcia). Vincent also meets teacher Rosa, whom she quickly falls in love with. Guillermo was forced to move to Alejandro's hut after his adoptive mother, Josephine (Geraldine Chaplin), kicked him out of the house. The relationship between the two brothers is heated when the idealism of Alejandro meets the views of Guillermo, tired of life.
