Sopishte ( Maced. Opshtina Sopishte ) is a community in Northern Macedonia . Located in the central part of the country. The population is 5,656 people ( 2002 ) [2] .

Ethnic structure of the population in the community according to the 2002 census [2] :
- Macedonians - 3 404 people. (60.2%);
- Albanians - 1 942 people. (34.3%);
- Bosnians - 243 people. (4.3%);
- the rest - 67 people. (1.2%)
